The YASON depth control system is designed to measure the current depth in the well during round-trip operations of geophysical tools on the wireline in the process of logging and further transmission of signals to the logging recorder. The depth is determined using signals of quantization steps ШК + and ШК-, as well as by reading magnetic marks (MM) applied to the logging cable.
